The Little Coal River Campground is located across from the newly constructed Hatfield-McCoy Trail Visitor’s Center. The campground is 20 miles south of Charleston, WV, nestled between Corridor G (Route 119) and the Little Coal River near Julian. The campground has 15 RV sites with a large amount of primitive camping available. The RV sites have water, sewer and 20/30/50 amp power hookups. There's a large bathhouse with heat and air conditioning. The campground has direct access to the Little Coal River Trailhead of the Hatfield-McCoy Trails. The campground is located along the banks of the Little Coal River. The tranquil stream offers fishing spots along its scenic banks. Shopping and fine cuisine for all is twenty minutes north. Many attractions are located near Charleston. Please see the “Attractions” page. The campground has a cabin and 36-foot travel trailer currently for rent. The remaining Hatfield-McCoy trails are to our south.
