Nestled along the picturesque Whispering Pines Drive in Alum Creek, West Virginia, Whispering Pines Fishing Lake invites you to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in the serenity of nature. Owned by the passionate angler Bub and wife Brenda Anderson, our fishing lake is more than just a destination—it’s a haven for those seeking a peaceful retreat and thrilling angling experiences.
Our hours of operation at present are Thursday 7am to 7pm, Friday 7am thru Monday 7pm. Friday, Saturday and Sunday night fishing is offered at a well-lighted lake that is stocked 3 times a week. We stock Catfish in the Summer and Trout in the Winter. The Farm Raised Catfish are Certified and inspected by the Department of Agriculture and are good for eating. The Big Fish are offered only for recreational purposes and must be returned to the water. We are only closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
